Rustic Mint is the quarry and trade name; Rustic Brown is our name for it. The spec code is STZ-ST-RUST. Quote the spec code on a BOQ rather than either name — the same stone is sold under several names across India, which is exactly how substitution happens on site after a specification is approved.

The natural face with the arrises tumbled off, so pieces sit together without sharp edges and the wall reads as hand-laid rather than machine-cut. The face is left as quarried; the piece is then tumbled to soften the edges. Backs are calibrated and sides hand-cut. Wet grip: high — suits wet areas. Hand-laid character with the laying speed of a modular system.

Size: Length 4"–15" · Width 4"–15" (random). Thickness: 20–22 MM. Supplied crate pack — 220 sqft/pack at approximately 5 kg per sq ft. Custom sizing is available on project orders — send the setting-out and we will cut to it.

Yes. At 1.5-2.5% water absorption and 2300 kg/m³ density it is exterior grade. Use a breathable impregnating sealer outdoors, never a film-forming one, and expect the stone to darken when wet — normal, and it reverses as it dries.

Yes. We export worldwide from Bhilwara with container loading, export packing and documentation handled in-house. Minimum order is project-based rather than a fixed count. For bulk and wholesale enquiries, container quantities and repeat programmes, send the schedule and we will quote FOB or CIF against it.

Yes, and we would rather you did. Ask for a wet sample as well as a dry one — every stone darkens when wet, some dramatically, and it is the one thing a photograph cannot show you.

All seven are the same sandstone at 1.5–2.5% absorption, so durability is identical. What differs is how weathering reads. Deep tones like Rustic Brown and Cosmic Rust take dust, rain-darkening and lichen and simply look older, which is usually the intention. Pale tones like Mint Frost show the same weathering as dirt. If the wall will not be washed, choose a deeper colour.

Yes. Feature walls, stairwells, reception areas and fireplace surrounds all work, and at 18–28 mm it projects little enough not to catch shoulders in normal circulation. Indoors, sealing is optional. Light it from above or below at a shallow raking angle rather than flat from the front — a raking wash picks out the edge of every piece, which is the whole reason to use a textured stone rather than a flat one.
